n-Butyllithium is an organic compound with the chemical formula C4H9Li. It is primarily used in the preparation of organometallic compounds and can also be used as a polymerization catalyst, hydrocarbonating agent, and rocket fuel.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, dedicated warehouse away from sources of fire and heat. The storage temperature should not exceed 30°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. The packaging must be sealed and protected from moisture. Store separately from acids, alcohols, and other substances, and avoid mixing. Large quantities or prolonged storage are not recommended. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation. Do not use spark-generating machinery and tools. Storage areas should be equipped with emergency leak response equipment and appropriate containment materials.
