Product Details
Cyclohexane is an organic compound with the chemical formula C₆H₁₂. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is insoluble in water but soluble in most organic solvents, such as ethanol, ether, benzene, and acetone. Cyclohexane occurs naturally in petroleum, typically at concentrations of 0.5% to 1.0%.
Cyclohexane is primarily used in the industrial production of adipic acid and caprolactam, precursors of nylon. It is also commonly used as a solvent, paint stripper, and raw material for other chemicals, and has a wide range of applications in industrial coatings, adhesives, and organic synthesis. Cyclohexane is primarily produced through the catalytic hydrogenation of benzene, typically under high temperature, pressure, and the presence of a catalyst.

PRODUCT USES
1. Used as a solvent for rubber, paint, and varnishes, a diluent for adhesives, and an oil extractant. Due to its low toxicity, it is often used in place of benzene for degreasing, delubricating, and paint stripping. This product is primarily used in the manufacture of nylon monomers adipic acid, hexamethylenediamine, and caprolactam. It is also used as a raw material in the manufacture of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone.
2. Used as an analytical reagent, such as a solvent and a standard substance for chromatographic analysis. Also used in organic synthesis;
3. Complexometric titration of copper, iron, silicon, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, etc.; chromatographic analysis standard;
4. Used as a photoresist solvent;
5. Used for the extraction of essential oils;
6. Cyclohexane is used as a cleaning and degreasing agent. MOS grade is primarily used for discrete devices and medium- and large-scale integrated circuits, while BV-III grade is primarily used for very large-scale integrated circuits.
