PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Colorless monoclinic crystals or white powder. Relative density 2.103. Melting point 58.54 (±0.5). Decomposes in hot water and alcohol. Soluble in cold water, its aqueous solution is acidic. Easily deliquescent in air. Loses crystal water upon heating to become anhydrous, further heated to decompose into sodium pyrosulfate.

 

PRODUCT USE

Used as an auxiliary dye for acid dyes in the printing and dyeing industry. Used as a flux for mineral decomposition in the smelting industry. Used as a disinfectant and detergent component in the pharmaceutical industry. Used as a raw material for the manufacture of sulfates and sodium alum in the chemical industry. In addition, it is also used in oil drilling and soil improvement.
